This is like my third blog post about chocolate granola. I just love it so much although now it’s particularly dangerous because I can get it at my local London Drugs!
Jordan’s Morning Crisp seems to be a new product at the store and they ran a two-week promotion to introduce the line. $3.99 for chocolate granola that I can get in this city, within walking distance?! Is it everything I dream of?
It is indeed. It is uncomplicated with other tastes of “hazelnut” and “biscotti” a la Archer Farms that I most recently purchased. It packs the same caloric punch as any other chocolate granola–270 calories for a 3/4 cup and who has a 3/4 cup measure?! I just serve up one cup, add equal portion of milk and deal with it.
It made me wonder if I should consider making chocolate granola myself but recipes tend to involve finding shaved chocolate (I know where I can get it, but it will rack up quite a bill) and turning over messy honey-slathered oats in the oven. No thanks!
